“All The Way Back” is set in the high you feel after finally breaking free of a miserable situation. The narrator is full of blind, ecstatic hope for the future after realizing that nothing was truly holding them back in the first place. The song centers around a cinematic image of the narrator gazing up at the sun from under the water: “Looking up I thought that I saw heaven.” The track is a sign to quit your job, move to a new city, take that risk, and never look back.
